Mama came to us on 5/30/09. As you can see she needed a lot of care. We are very happy to tell you Mama has improved so much she is ready for her forever home. Please remember, just because Mama is no longer in immediate need, we are still paying on her many bills. I am asking anyone who can, to please donate what they can to help care for this horse and others like her. Your help does make a difference.

Welcome to Quality Care Equine Rescue
Here at QCER we strive to provide a comfortable and safe environment for horses that have been abused or are in other unfortunate scenarios.
QCER is a non-profit facility located in Morriston, Florida. We have 30 beautiful acres for the horses and are leasing another 10 acres for the facility to use. We take in horses that need a home and we provide the quality care that they deserve.
Many horse owners just can’t handle the horse they have or with the economy the way it is, they can’t afford them. On the flip side there are many horses that are abused, mistreated, injured so bad the owners don’t want them anymore. That’s where we come in. If there’s room, there welcome! We provide a safe home, lots of food and love, training they might need, ferrier work, veterinary care, shots, coggins, and many other needs. If the horse cant be re-homed for any reason, then they will be residents of QCER until the end.
